To make a rainbow, you've got to let the sunlight shine through you.

Rain pounds the soil
And moves the Earth
The tempo of its spatters
Calls to Young seeds
Causes them to sprout
and dance to life
Rain incites the flowers,
Orchestrates their Bloom
Polishes their vivid hues
and awakens their fragrance
Rain deepens the riverbed
gives home to fish
And shapes the earth
As it moves sensually along
Rain protects with a caress,
cools the sun baked flesh
Hides timid tears
And gives drink to he who thirsts
Rain rejuvenates
And revitalizes
Nurtures flora and fauna
Rain lies in wait
Looking over the Earth
from a lofty cloud
Rain blesses all
With the Waters of life
Kissing all of creation
With Love by the drop
Rain is sacred
rain is holy
And rainmakers
have their rituals
To call her back
when she is away
Without her
Death pervades
... I will take your rain
And house it in a cloud
Above my head
And look dreamily
At it's silver lining
And as the sun slips through
We can celebrate your rainbow
And let all praise
the cascade of prismic jewels
You made from a ray of light
