Thinking and wishing
To be under an umbrella
Somewhere in the Maldives
Protecting my fragile skin
From the roaring hot sun's rays
Wearing sunglasses
And Factor 50 sun cream
Surely there's no way at all
The sun's breaking through
Through all those layers of my skin
Through to my bones
That need and cry out for its Vitamin D
So long
So harsh
Last winter's been
It still feels as though it's here sometimes
Those days, when it's cold and wet
Yet today
The sky is brilliant blue
As the big ball ☀️
Shines bright above
With all the creams
In the whole wide world
When it kisses my skin, I'm so in love...
