Filtering rays of sunshine,
Brighten up my day,
My heart swells with hope and pride,
Keen for the glories coming my way.
I know it may not be one of my lucky day,
I may have to face a lot,
but that's a part of the way.
I know I'll overcome it,
not to get demoralized,
the happy shall come for sure,
to lighten up my day.
I ride on the chariot of hope,
leaping while I fight my problems,
towards happiness,
to peace and enlightenment.
the new day has been exciting and now I am content.
the moon is gleaming bright,
promising to see over me through the night.
I am peaceful as I lay down
with yet another hope for the next sunshine.
