He was father, mentor, guardian and friend,
It is neverlasting bond that will never end
He guides me wisdom, his words are true,
And show me path that I should pursue.

His lessons in life are a precious gift,
That push my thoughts each day to uplift
He taught me strength, humble & grace,
And prepared me for life challenging race.

As a guardian, he shielded me from harm,
He provided me shelter in his safe arm.
He standed with me through thick and thin,
And helped me when a storm of thoughts I was carring within.

As a friend, he shared my joy & happiness,
He taught me sympathy, love and kindness.
A constant companion in laughter and tears,
He lightened my burdens and calms my fears.

He was the father who leaded the way,
A mentor, guardian & friend come what may.
I will keep your love, your care & your cheer,
You are the one who will always be my near.


This is my little #gratitude for my elder father who's not with me today. But his teachings will stay with me forever. #Bdepapa
