I don’t want to play here anymore
I don’t want to play here anymore

I miss the days in the sandbox
Filled with laughter smiles and joy
Always room for one more
Sharing our shovels our buckets our toys
Didn’t matter where you were from
Didn’t matter if you were a girl or a boy

Just seems those days are gone
Perhaps it was just a good ride
The sandbox has a line down the center
Bodies clinging to one side
Nobody plays in the middle
Why the divide

Guess I’m gonna grab my ball and go home
I don’t want to play here anymore
Nobody’s nice in this sandbox
I just don’t know what’s the reason for
All of the anger
Cuts me to my core
Get me out of this sandbox
I’m not gonna play here anymore

Not sure where I will go
But it certainly won’t be there
Perhaps I’ll find a better place
Where people actually care
For each other a happy place
Where peace and understanding
We always find some space

Gonna grab my ball and head to
A new sandbox I found where I can play
Enjoy the laughter and smiles again
Where everyone gets along
Where everybody is a friend
All of the love
Fills me to my core
Thanks for letting me in your sandbox
I think I’ll play a little more
