I don't want another love song or romantic novel that will send me spiralling for days on end; I want something so much more authentic than that: to feel safe while I am losing control, to unravel and be adored for all the rumpled-up bits and pieces, to be eminently adored and to eminently adore in return without feeling the world's restraint of doubt. To love tenderly with the acceptance and understanding to have no doors closed on me, to free fall like the rain to the earth, and to be met with a welcoming thirst.
