Poem
I cried today: "I cried today, I don't think you saw, The tears in my eyes, That you caused, Colored stain, On tempered glass, Green, red, yellow, blue, Assortment of feelings, Laid out like a grid, Painting a picture, For all but you to see, A cry in the night, A sweet melody, Sacred and precious to me, A silence brought, Wrought by soft downey feather, You couldn't take it like I, A painting in glass, Shattered at last, Your love was lack, That I had to pick up the slack, Keep it together, Gather the pieces, Turn a blind eye, Don't wish to see it, Unfixable puzzle pieces, Stained, shattered, all piled together, Try to hold me, I'll cut you, From these broken shard pieces, I cried today, I think you saw, Yes these are the tears,That you caused, You see only now, With shiny new bracelet's, Behind wrought iron bars, For the death that you caused, Baby in a box, Earthly embrace, I cried today and the world saw, These are the tears I cried, For my baby above. "(I wrote this poem for all parents out their who've lost a child due to all and any circumstances out of their control. You're never alone.)
