Truth

Hidden truth
I will soon. Just this on,e, I assumed. But I took hours, holding onto it. It was five o.clockand now five minutes passed six pm. I was shocked, 'did I take that long?' I asked myself. Time for duty, it was. I sat there, 'I will soon. 'Just this one, ' I assumed. Time flew, never to recover. 'Just this one, ' took me to the eight hours of the day.

Haaa! Eight!
'Time runs fast these days, ' I asserted. All those unrecoverable hours. I peaceful sat there holding onto it.

Do we ever think approximately how much time we spend on it? An hour, two, three... No. We honestly don't know how much time we waste on it.

I have come to realize lately. Our phones, tablets, computers and what have we are our true foes. We think it is what it is. We are held bound by it. We claim we own it but it owns us.

Have you ever tried deleting your social media networks from that device you claim, It's mine?! Yes, you have. But... You end up reinstalling them.

It was made for communication. See now!! It has taken all that space. It is now our friend, consoler, partner, company when we are lonely... We run to It unknowingly.

We are a slave to It. According to discover. We are mentally attached to our devices (phone, tablets...) As the battery trot low, we become depressed, inactive, confuse. Because we have attached our minds and souls to It unknowingly.

The hidden is, It owns us. We don't own It as we claim.
If only we can realize how bound we are by It. Then we stand a chance to free ourselves.

I write not because I feel obligated. But with insight. The truth is yet to say.

Our generation is decided by what we see outwardly good. Forgetting the fact, not all that glitter is golden.

Our father's fathers were deceived by something we don't know. We are no different from them.

It looks good. But it does greater harm than good.

I rest my case, till then...
