“It’s About Me!”
Write a short story where the protagonist has a doppelganger. #doppelganger

“Yes, I know… —“ impatiently shaking their head in disagreement “I know. I learned this long before you.” Why does she struggle so? As an unbiased reader I can’t help but feel conflicted. She’s just so argumentative. Does she even want to be written? I doubt she even grasps the importance that this story could hold, if she’d let it. “I hate all this introspection… I’m so sick of living here.” as she slams her journal closed. I guess she didn’t want us to be seen. I would have enjoyed a few words of affirmation. “she thought.” while reading what she had just written, she closes her journal gently. She paces her room, the radiator bubbling with heat as she avoids the sensation of warmth. She seems so tired, so curious. Does she even know this was all about her?
