Conversations With the Constellations
There he sat atop the hill looking up to the night sky seemingly lit up by the light of the stars. As infinite as the grains of sand on the beach shore, as unique as a fingerprint but together they were the light to this dark matter. He gazed at the stars almost as if he was looking for a specific one he knew. There it was bright and twinkling like a disco ball as the light pulsated from it like a heart beat. What if stars are more than just lights that distantly light up the sky? After all they say we are made from star dust, so if that was so what do the stars see when they shine down on us? Do they see the same light we see from them or do they see us for who we really are and not what we make ourselves out to be?

The star seemed to look back at him with the same intensity and curiousity he showed. Still twinkling but now as he stared more and more he seemed to become closer to this star. Focused on each other, he felt himself face to face with the star and even though it was so bright he could see. They seemingly looked at each other for a period of time and time became a term not something in existence. The star spoke, “Aren’t you afraid?” it asked. “Why would I be when I’m talking to myself?” he replied. “How can you say you’re talking to yourself, do you not see me?” the star replied. “I only see myself, but I hear two voices” he replied. The star smiled and there was a brief moment of silence as their eyes saw through each other.

Now that they could see through each other they ceased to speak and rather just saw everything they wanted to ask or know. The star saw how dark the world actually was were this man came from. It saw how everyday it got darker but how the man had managed to find a way to shine enough to be noticed. The star felt that the man had a far more difficult purpose to fulfill in the universe than he had to shine. The star embraced the man with a hue of light so bright it clothed every inch of his body. In this blanket of light the man saw the star in its full glory and was humbled.

The man looked at the star and saw what he admired most but instead of being filled with admiration he was suddenly gripped by understanding. If he could see the star and it could see him, if he could speak to the star and it spoke back, if he could see through the star the same way it was through him. Did this mean he was the star? And if they wasn’t the case does that mean that the star is in him? The star suddenly spoke, “walk in this light and learn all the secrets of overcoming the dark.” Surprised by the stars words he asked, “Why did you choose me?”

“I didn’t choose you, you were chosen and you chose me so here we are.” The man bowed his head in respect and walked through the light until his eyes couldn’t see anything. It wasn’t a blinding feeling but rather a feeling of euphoria. Even though he couldn’t see what was ahead of him he knew and felt it was everything he wanted and more. “How do you feel now?” the star asked. “Better than before” the man replied. “Good now just walk with me and I’ll show you all ways to overcome the dark, can you see anything?” the star asked the man. The man walked then stopped and said, “I can’t see but I just know that everything is fine.” Smiling back the star said “And that’s how you should walk in the dark, remember that you can see it but it cant see you until you become like it."

The man walked through the light and as he went by all that went on is his mind was rhythmically passing throughts...

"Being fascinated always about the night sky
He has a passion to go above high
Sometimes failing but never quit or cry
Questioning if all the stars are real
Or are they part of whole lie?

One day he achieved his dream and cheered himself on with a loud scream
Now he can be able to touch the sky rim
Gazing at the cluster of stars in the constellation the view seemed like part of a dream

Now as the sun hid below the horizon
The sky now full of glittering stars and the moon
As they are waiting for a long run
Creating different colours of white, yellow and crimson

Suddenly he hears someone gossiping
Or were they enquiring about his surroundings?
Finding himself in amongst the stars
As they are trying to tell him something

"Hello little fellow?" asked one twinkling star
With affection and care
None of this carried an unexpected fare
Dwelling on thoughts about how this heavenly body could talk, was it real or a nightmare?

Gaining his strength to start his conversation
"How can you speak?" he said to star "As you are a lifeless being, is real or a euphoric sensation?"

"Yes I can speak too" replied the star
"The whole universe gossips with a voice of whisper
You are the choosen one,so you are here
Let's start this journey with smile and cheer."

Then the star continued his gossiping
Doing all types of merry making
Travelling all around the stardust created from nebulizing
Addressing all with their name mentioning

The man says "We all are same there is no difference between us to remain.
The particles are you made up from the same plane."

We all are part of this unlimited universe
Doing our chores that are choosen by us
Walking all around in our journey
Functioning our duty to shape our destiny
So speak up for the stars and is are eternity...
