For a timeless moment, he was suspended within the confines of his car. Then gravity took over with a force that sent the vehicle hurtling down the face of the ravine.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." His broken apology flew down with the blood spewing from his lips...
All Riley could see was a blurry vision of a muscular man trying to elevate him from the floor , uttering inaudible words . Although he was unconscious moments later. He managed to catch a glimpse or two of the scene. So waking up in a hospital bed was no surprise.
Riley's point of view
"You're awake , thank God ", the man who spoke settled right beside the bed.
I turned my head and took a push to look at the ridiculously handsome man besides me .
I didn't quite recognize him , so I knew it had to be the reckless driver .
" How are you feeling?", the doctor asked me . I felt brand new . Except for my unbearable headache ." Does heachache count ?", I asked the doctor who smiled at me kindly.
" Yes is counts, you must have hit your head very hard ",she explained. "You'll be prescribed with some paracetamol, we've examined your bone structure in the X-ray , it seems you are all good ", she smiled.
"So I'm discharged right?", I asked stepping onto the cold tiles barefoot. " where...
