When I was a child, I was always amazed by the beauty of the night sky. Staring at the twinkling of the little stars was such a wonderful moment to me. I have made many wishes related to the astronomical events.

When I started reading about space for the first time, "Shooting Stars" was the first word that fascinated me a lot. It was then I made the first wish to see the shooting stars. I did wait for the wish to be fulfilled. I prayed to God to grant my wish. He did listen to me.

It was a clear and beautiful night. I and my brother sat on the verandah talking to each other. While we were discussing about our dreams, suddenly a bright thing passed through the atmosphere which was a shooting star. Right at that moment I was surprised and happy a lot since my first wish had been granted. With a smile in my face I told my brother to look at the beautiful shooting star. He looked at it in amazement. The shooting star had mesmerized us. We were small kids at that time, and strongly believed that if we made any wish while shooting star was passing by in the night sky, the wish would be surely granted. My belief was so strong that I hold my hands tightly and prayed for the other wish to be granted which is nothing but my dream, my aim in life! From that time onwards I have a strong belief that one day, the shooting star will surely make my dream come true. It was not only me who had made a wish but my brother also.

I believe that the shooting star has already delivered my wish to God.
