Anna's pov.

"She's not coming, she left with Ashley."

Said Chloe looking defeated.

"I don't know what you talking about."

I said but I could hide my disappointment.

"Really? what about this huh? it looks like your hand writing."

Said Chloe as she crossed her arms on her chest.

"Oh that, I just wanted to apologize to Deco in person."

I said looking at Chloe and caught her look of surprise.

It was rare for me to apologize to anyone or even regret it.

To be honest I missed laying on Deco's lap while she braided my hair every break.

It was our bonding time and made me feel cared about.

My parents are always away and the workers don't say much.

Deco was the first person to approach me not knowing who I am.

She was so nice that day and told me that I had beautiful hair.

She said she was itching to braid it and I let her surprising myself.

Chloe was my friend but Deco replaced my family.

I wasn't ready to lose that and saw my mistake.

"Maybe we should just stop being friends."

Said Chloe making me look at her in the eyes.

"I think you are right, in order to change we sadly need to part ways."

I said as tears build in my tears.

Chloe hugged me wiping my tears.

"It's for the best, I don't want to be a bully anymore and I want space.
But this doesn't mean our friendship is over,
it's on pause till we get our Deco back."

Said Chloe as we held each other's arms.

None of us thought that Deco would cut ties with us immediately.

She ignored us like we were never friends and even laughed when Ashley embarrassed us at the cafeteria.

I don't know why I glared at her instead of Ashley.

Now I feel empty and with regret.

It was a new feeling and I didn't like it.
