I run straight to work and enter the changing room to put on my uniform. It's like a fitted pink and white gown,with a collar and buttons in front. It's quite short and shows a little of my cleavage. I quickly rush to the counter breathing heavily.
"Ohayo Jasmine"(Good morning) Iris greeted with a nice smile.(I almost forgot her name 😂😖)
"Ohayo Iris... sorry I'm late" I said panting
"It's okay Jasmine... Boss hasn't even showed up" Charlie said
"That reliving".He smiles.
"your needed at table 8 Jasmine"Iris said giving me two plates of sandwiches and two can of drinks
"Okay... I'm on it"
I made my way to table 8 and served their meal
"Ohayo,Oishii"( Have a good meal) I said putting up a smile.
"Arrigato"(Thank you) They replied back.
I head back to the counter as work goes on.
Finally, work was over, we had close for the day. I and Iris handed the tables while Charlie was arranging behind the counter.
"How's Mikey and Daisy?" Iris asked packing some remaining food
"They're doing well... Thanks for asking though" I said as I continue doing my work.
"Speaking of which, shouldn't you be heading home by now?" Iris said staring at me
"C'mon work's not done yet"
After saying that, Charlie and Iris stare at me surprised.
"What?" I asked confused
"Jasmine.... it's. almost 7:30" Charlie cleared out
"What?! it's that late?" I asked trying to find my phone. I check the time and it wasn't a lie
"Oh no! I'm late... I told Mrs.Ellen I'll be back by 6:30... And Mikey.... He must be back from-" I stop myself
"Iris can you help me out pls... I promise this will be the only time"
"Oh.. it's okay, just get home safely"
