I burst into the office I share with Remy and she looks up at me with a startled look as I lean against my side of the desk. My hands are shaking I'm so... excited? Floored? Shocked?

"What the hell is wrong with you! What happened?" Remy asks pushing up from her chair with a startled expression.

The woman would literally try to knock someone out for me if I only asked. I shake my head at her and flop down in my chair. "I need a drink. A really really strong drink."

Remy frowns and perches her rear end on my side of the desk and folds her arms. "Not until you tell me why the hell you just burst in here like your ass was on fire. What the heck did Kristian want?"

She looks confused for a second and then checks the time herself. "Oh, shit!"

She starts to stand and I sit up, holding a hand out, and she pauses. "It's fine. Kristian talked to his father and it's fine until Monday."

"How'd he manage that?" she asks, her dark brown brows lowering in confusion.

I pull the card he gave me from my back pants pocket and hold it up between us. "I need to buy a dress and your going to help me."

"Where did you get that and why am I helping?" she asks, suspicious...
