The streetlights were dim as the mist enclosed it in its mysterious grip. She peered out of her window into the darkness, was there someone out there, or was it her imagination?

Her grip tightened on the dagger she was holding. Bagh Nakh, she remembered the name of the dagger. The dagger had a very unusual shape. It had tiger-like claws, sharp and dangerous. She slipped her hand into the two circles which were meant to fasten on her fingers to attain a better grip.

She wasn't good at fighting, she knew it but she had to withstand the fight against him, against Blade. Strange name, she thought to herself.

Something erupted, breaking the window glass and knocking Venus with strong force. Her head banged against the wooden table, breaking the table in two halves. It didn't pain as much as a mortal would feel. Thunder crashed down, burning the nearby trees.

She immediately stood up, looking around for any threat. Fire flared around her, taking the shape of a cage.
Wait what? Blade can't control fire, he's the son of Poseidon, not Hephaestus.

"Expecting someone else, huh," a voice spoke from behind. A familiar voice.

She turned. Her eyes widened at the sight of her brother. Her stepbrother to be exact. She wanted to scream but nothing came out of her mouth. Her knees were on the verge of buckling. It was not what she had expected.

"Titus, you, " she said, her voice barely a whisper.

"Yes, little sister, how pleasant to see you again, alive, " he forced the word 'alive' through his gritted teeth.

How strange that she was the daughter of Zeus while his stepbrother was the son of Hephaestus, but they had the same mother. She was no match for him, neither will she ever be.

The flames closed upon her, daring to burn her alive. There was a time when she loved his brother and his brother loved her back, but now, he was a heartless monster.

The dagger wouldn't be useful in the combat as he could easily melt away the blade. It was her against him, power against power, lightning against fire.

She dropped the dagger as her hands webbed with electricity. Her brother smirked rashly.

"Join me and you'll live, little sister," he said.

"Never," she spat on his face.

The flames rose, matching his anger.
"Venus, I would change your name if I could," he said.

"To what," she asked

"I always called you by that name," he said grinning madly.

Confusion crossed over Venus's face.
What name? She thought.

A mistake. Titus took advantage of that and he rocketed flames at her sister. It didn't burn her but it exploded causing Venus to fall over. She choked as a hand made out of fire grabbed her neck. The hand was simulating Titus's actions. She could feel her skin burn beneath the fire. Her screams filled up the surrounding.

Her brother walked over and kneeled beside her.

"Can't you remember, Venus. Bitch is what always called you, " he laughed loudly, mixing with her sister's screams.

The unbearable pain subsided, as her whole body became numb. She couldn't die like this.

He was close to her, taking benefit, she blasted electricity at Titus.
He flew away and crashed on the marble floor causing his nose to bleed.

Venus stood up, her neck was a mess. Blood poured down upon her white tank top. The skin was burned all the way around her neck, showing flesh. Tears slide across her face as the pain increased.

Thunderbolts crashed with such force that the ground shook. The blue and purple electricity whined as Venus clenched her fists. Electricity swirled around her, making her glow, making it look as if she was a goddess.

She remembered how he had tried to kill her several times, once by drowning her, other by pushing her off a cliff and many more times. She remembered how mercilessly he had killed her mother, it was his mother too but he didn't think twice before murdering her. Neither will she.

Titus stood, balancing himself by holding the broken table.

"Ah dear brother, I forgot you called me that," she said smiling.

He was confused. How was she smiling in pain? How did she survive the burn?

"Well, if I'm a bitch, let me fight like one," with that said she dived, heading towards Titus. They both tumbled. Venus stood up but it was too late. Titus jumped on top of her.

He gripped her hair and yanked her head backward. Then with a smile, he took hold of his sister's wrist and snapped it. She screamed in pain. Then he did the same with her elbow, breaking her bones as if they were twigs. This time she didn't scream.

She kicked him, causing his grip to lose on her. Then she punched him, right on the nose.

He cried out in pain. The thunderbolts came in, knocking him over. He glided, slamming against broken furniture. He stood up fast.

"Stupid lightning bitch," he yelled holding his broken, bleeding nose.

Venus came running, dodging the fireballs. She kicked, swirling around in a graceful manner. She didn't see where she had struck but for the fact, she had broken a bone as she had heard a satisfying crunch.

She turned looking down. There, lying lifelessly was her brother's corpse. At first, she didn't notice his face as her eyes swelled with tears. But then when she came close, she saw her hit. His jaw, it was all broken. His once handsome face was gone by just one kick, not only his face but his soul too.

She turned around as she heard a gasp. Blade stood there with his javelin in his hand.

She smirked, as she took her position to fight. If she killed her brother, this boy was nothing compared to her.

And as he stood there gawking at her, she struck with lighting blazing around her.
