MY COVID STORY

2020 and 2021 has been a difficult time for everyone but has also helped us connect more with our families. Share your experience in the form of a story about how this scenario shaped your life and you as a person.
For me this journeyt all began in 2019 the Advent of covid -19..Here in Nigeria every one felt they were safe and this levianthan is in a far away land.It was business as usual.
The hurly burly of life went on unperturbed.
The story of any one returning abroad was a dead end story,so everyone kept their tales to themselves.Gradually covid - 19 was no longer a distant story but a reality,fear gripping everyone,who do you run to ,it was a travail with no one to help.
When you have a government that is helpless and clueless how can they be of help to it citizenry.It was a situation of physician heal thy self.
I was cut up in the mix,total lockdown we all like trapped animals in a cage,afraid to step out.the fear of this monstrous monster was more dreadful than cancer and the likes. .Like the popular saying the anticipation of death is worse than death it self.Mamy had died a thousand death before it even happened.
Lockdown accorded me the opportunity to begin to search inward and draw from the resource of my inner transaction.Ir was amazing what came out of it.
I sing but never took it serious,I was able to write amazing songs.I knew I could write but didn't have any reason to,covid gave my that opportunity to soliloquize and draw inspiration from my wealth of experience.In my quest and search that was how I found WRITCO but I didn't start writing untill four month ago and here I am today growing stronger,sharpening my rough edges and becoming a better writer everyday.

I believe one day my name will resound on the lips of many worldwide because of my ART and I,Writco is a platform I will forever be grateful to for the opportunity to find expression and also for finding my voice
