Hi my name is Johnathan, but people call me johnny
I grew up in a small country town
where it was a high unemployment area
So I grew up the poor kid that was forever teased and picked on in and out of school
And if that wasn't enough then each day I come home from school it was my alcoholic step father who'd do all of the damage to the rest of my day and night
I have 2 older brothers and 1 older sister then my 2 younger brothers
I was fourth born of 6 children
My childhood was a cruel one
Although each of us has a story to tell
I'm gonna try and find it in my heart of hearts to take you on a journey one that may leave you stunned shocked and totally off guard
But first of all I just wanted to give you a little insight to who I am
And to why I'm here today sharing my most fragile pieces about my life's experiences struggles and broken dreams
But I guess the hardest thing of all is remembering going through all of it again to help you understand to why some kids don't get to grow up shining in life
As some pasts can really hold you down and keep you down if you let them
But I'm a born soldier, not a real soldier but one that has been through many tough times
but have still learned to appreciate those little things in life that matter
I need this platform to vent what I feel inside
I also need you to carry me through as this is my best therapy Ive ever come to find
It's also the first thing I've ever been told that I'm good at even though I still doubt that as you do when all you're ever told is negative feedback
So I thank you my followers and fellow writers for likes comments following or even just lending an ear for me to vent
I can't wait to get to know as many people that this life gets to throw at me
And maybe I can help someone along their own journey
