SHE

She moved towards the narrow balcony of her flat. It was nearly 2 AM.. the street was beautiful. With the slight fog and dim yellow street light. the road was slightly wet with the dew drops dripped from the tree leaves. She pretended to be happy. A clam curve formed in her lips yet the eyes seemed so deadly.

She stood there by rubbing her hands. She couldn't bear the coldness outside. She tried to hide her hands inside the sweater. suddenly twisted her eyebrows as something stuck in her mind. She searched her pocket. With a pale smile, she took a cigarette from it. She lit it. Maybe to reduce the coldness. I don't know.. she smoked and walked there so silently.

After a few seconds, she discovered a couple walking in the wet road that reflects the yellow lights.. their shadows in that frame appeared like a painting. She watched them walking even it's not that much clear she loved it like watching a romantic movie .she caught them hugging each other. She got lightening inside her. They kissed slowly. she got a thunder inside her. She inhale the smoke too fastly and exhales them more fastly. Don't know why. Like the dew drops outside two drops appeared on her cheeks. She seemed so numb. The fog hugged the smoke she puffed off.

Suddenly I heard her telephone rang. She moved from the balcony, of course, she was in a rush. Maybe an expected call. With the second ring, she picked up the phone.
"Hey darling"
she heard the voice from the other side. Her heart danced slowly like the beginning of a ballet. She felt the music. She didn't say anything. but showered few kisses and said
"I missed you"
"I missed you too"
"When will you come?"
"Soon, maybe next Sunday"
"Please don't fool me this time. like always"
"No darling, I will try to come for sure"
"OMG, Aww.. two more days."
The music was too fast that time.. and the movements of ballerina inside her were high on energy.
"Yah"
"Hey you know, I just now saw a couple.."
Suddenly he interrupted her...
"Darling, I have some works to finish.. will call you later, Bye"
"Bye, I love you so much"
"I love you too"

The call dropped. The play was coming to the end. The beats where frequently moving from one extreme to the other.. sometimes slow and the sometimes fast. She was still standing near the telephone. Was lost in thoughts. It was the final moment. That strong ballerina seemed a little tired. she stood on the left toe. Ohh the calf and thigh. I wonder how strong it would be. She spun like a spinner. The music stopped eventually. she stood still and bowed the crowd of demons inside her.

She again walked towards the balcony. this time without the sweater. Dragged a chair to there. Lit another cigarette. Looked at the tattoo just under her left collar bone. His name.. she pressed the cigarette on it and like an ice sculpture, she sat there frozen. Same as the previous Friday.. she often sighed.

Her eyes were fixed somewhere so far. I watched her closely. This time there was no dew drops on her cheeks. She kept spitting the smoke. Slowly the curtain fell down.

Now I don't know. What the ballerina doing behind the curtain. I prayed. "At least let her cry"
