The last good deed.......
It was just a normal day for me....
My husband is again out on a business trip.......
The condition is not very good as per the news...... Someone has killed the scientist who was working upon making a vaccine for the deadly virus..... He said that the vaccine was on the verge to get completed...... But now there is no hope left.......
I don't think humanity will survive this virus......He was our last hope but now he is gone..... But who killed him??
Why would someone kill a person who was literally working to save the entire humanity...... 'How selfish can a person be.'
The virus is affecting everything and everyone, the industries are closing, jobs aren't available, food is scarce, people are loosing their lives not only because of the virus but also because of hunger and poverty. The world economic is severely affected...... The only thing which could put a stop to this was the vaccine.......
I tried to call Jay....... To ask if he reached his destination........But his phone was switched off..... so I thought he must be in the flight instead I just messaged him to call back when he reaches......
Then I got busy with my work and just then I got a email from Jay...... I was confused, why was he sending me an email and not a direct message??
I opened the email..... The email had...
"If you are reading this......then I just want to tell you that I won't return........ they already have killed me I am writing this letter before doing the crime so that atleast you will know what happened to me........ this all started two months ago..... I was suffering from a rare disease...... I have been traveling to many places to find a cure for this, All the recent business trips were nothing but a visit to different doctors and hospitals to find a cure for my condition....... but all in vain..........and in doing so....... I lost all my savings..... all the money I wish to save for you and our children is gone....... and now that I know, I won't survive...... I had to do something for you all so that you wouldn't face any problems when I am not there......and in doing so I made a mistake A BIG MISTAKE.......... if you are reading this, that means..... the scientists who were making the vaccine are killed........ BY ME
this all started a month ago...... I got a mail from a strange email address..... the mail had an address and with the address it was written...... 'we have a solution to your problem'
First I thought it was a scam and ignored it but then I got a letter in my office...... when I opened the letter...... it had the same address but this time it also had a phone number.......and below the address it was written....... 'We know about your disease.....and we really wish to help you.... if you need our help, just give a call on the number'..... I was confused but I wanted to know what was going on, also I haven't told anyone about my disease,not even you then how did they get to know about this....... so I called on the given number........before I could say anything.......the person on the phone said "we know everything about you, and we also know what you want and we are willing to give you that...... if you accept our offer just come to the address we sent you in this letter..... and make sure no one knows about this......"
And he hung up..... I didn't even got a chance to speak.....I tried calling back but the number was unavailable...... I couldn't understand what was going on.... who were these people?
To get the answers to these questions I decided to go to the mentioned address.......
When I reached there it was suddenly a different world inside.......I was escorted by two men with a blind fold on my eyes, so I couldn't really see where I was been taken, they made me sit in a room and then I was allowed to take off the blindfold and when I took off the blindfold...... I was sitting in a room with a man........ and also a gun which was kept right in front of me...... He introduced himself...... I won't tell you his name or anything about his appearance because if I do, you will try to find them and I don't want you to do so because I am afraid if you do anything, they will kill you and our children........
He said...... "we know you are out of money and you also want your family to be happy and safe even after you die....... and we can make that thing possible.....we will give you 50 million dollars if you do what we say.... if you agree, sign these papers.... "
he gave me some papers..... with two photographs of 2 middle aged men...... I asked what was it about. He simply said "Do u know who these 2 are?"
I nodded......."they are the scientists who are working on the vaccine for the virus..... But why are you asking me about them and what is written in these papers?"
"It is mentioned that you will kill these two scientists and then after you complete your task, 50 million dollars will be handed over to you."
"But why do you want to kill them, The vaccine they are making is literally going to save all of us and without the vaccine on once will survive."
"This is exactly what we want....... if the virus spreads........the demand of the vaccine will increase....... and if the demand increases price increases........and this means we will get maximum profit.... "
'That means you have the vaccine"
"Nope, You will bring the vaccine for us..... why do you think we waited to kill them....... we wanted the vaccine and now when it is ready, they are longer needed...... you just have to kill them and bring the vaccine to us..."
"So You want to sell the vaccine in high prices.... right? "
"NO, WE WILL WAIT.... WAIT FOR THE CONDITION TO GET WORSE"
"What does that mean?? "I asked...
"When the condition gets worse, All the countries will have to buy the vaccine in whatever prices we sell because they won't have any other options........ it's simple... "
"And what If someone makes the vaccine before you sell yours?? "
"That won't happen..... we will take care of that"
"if you agree with our conditions.... just sign the papers......and don't worry no one will ever get to know that you killed them.......we have our people everywhere.....they will help you in completing your job and then bring you back SAFE.... "
I was confused........The stress on the word safe .....made it clear that they will probably kill me after the job is done.......First I thought of rejecting the offer..... but then I thought about our family.......I started to read those papers....... and after reading them, one thing was clear.......there is a very powerful organisation behind all this and also my one sign could affect many lives....... But to get those 50 million dollars.........I decided to signed those papers.
They have given me a fake ID, passport and some people's names which I think will help me do what I an supposed to do........ I am writing this email a day before the murder....... If you are getting this email..... either I am dead because of my disease or they have killed me...... I just want to tell you that I left something for you with one of my friend......his address is written in my diary which is in my room. After ensuring your financial safety, This is the one last good deed I did, So that my soul could rest in peace......Please as soon as you get this, just go to him and take whatever he gives you and he will tell you what to do........ If you are reading this remember I will always love you.....take care of our kids.......

After reading this.... the first thing I did was to go to his Friend....... what was it that he wanted to give me..... was it some kind of evidence against the people who were responsible for all this..... "
As soon as I reached the house.... the man handed me an envelope with a person's name ..... I asked him what was it.... He said...
"You have to give this envelope to this person and make sure you personally give it to him..... don't trust anyone......"
"But what is it" I asked.
"These are the research papers which belong to the scientists, These papers have all the information needed to make the vaccine.....You just have to give it to the authority....... but please don't mention about this to anyone"
I took the envelope and.......
Shot him with my gun............
And destroyed the envelope as soon as possible and deleted the email......... I mean how could they even make such a big mistake....... what if the person would have given the envelope to someone else.........I immediately called them and scolded them for their carelessness and warned them..... This should never happen again in the future.......I mean a lot of money has been spent in making the virus and spreading it..... how can they be so irresponsible........
