I looked back to see Deremy looking at me with sympathetic eyes. I stood up and turned back giving a cold shoulder to him. If it weren't for him bumping into me this morning, nothing of this would've happened. I was about to leave when he suddenly grabbed my arm and led the way towards store room. After reaching there, he locked the door. I was kinda terrified right now. He then noticed my horrified look and started to speak in a soft voice "Elle, listen i know what happened some moments ago. I just want to apologise because i was in restroom when boss said all those things to you. If i would be there, i would've stand by your side, afterall i know that you must have lost documents when we bumped into each other before. I am sorry-" before he could say anymore, i cutted him "ha, sorry, guess what, i forgive you" and slashed my fake smile, trying to hold tears back as much as i can. He frowned and suddenly he grabbed my hairs in the back and next thing i know was my head resting on his shoulders. He wrapped his hands around my waist and now we were hugging. I don't know why but i felt safe in someone's embrace for first time. I couldn't hold back now and i started crying my heart out in his arms. He patted my head and we stood like that for about 20 minutes until i broke out from his embrace. He smiled at me and i just bowed and thanked him. As i was about to leave, he said "Umm i know where your missing papers are". I widened my eyes and turned around. "Ahh after you left, i turned aroung and saw some papers. I thought you accidentally dropped them. I picked up all documents and i was just coming to give them to you but suddenly a woman dressed in green and black outfit approached me and asked me to give them to her as she said you asked her to bring the missing documents. I didn't know much about employees. So i thought she is helping you and that's when i give them to her. I am sorry, i didn't knew she would stole them" Deremy said, guilt was clearly shown in his eyes. I sighed as now i knew everything. The woman in green and black outfit was none other than Lia Dildo. She never liked me, i don't know why. Anyways after everything was clear, i went to my boss and told him everything. We then went to her. She was nervous when she saw boss and Deremy with me when we were marching towards her. It was really a long and tough conversation or i would say argument that we had with her. In the end, she finally admitted what she did. My boss was pissed at her and in punishment, she was given the duty of delivering lunch to every employee's table for straight 2 weeks. She then looked at me, annoyed. I honestly don't know why she hates me so much. Whenever i try to ask her the reason, she just shrugs off. Anyways, after that incident, everything came back to normal. 1 week has passed and me and Deremy were now, kinda good friends. I don't know how to put this, but he makes me feel something i haven't felt before. He is first person who can easily see through me. I honestly felt comfortable around someone for the first time. I've also tried opening up, to reveal my real feelings, real emotions. Everything was going smooth and me and Deremy were growing closer. I was honestly happy by heart this time until i saw something one day.
