The way we spend our mornings can really set the tone for the rest of the day. If you want to have a productive day full of focus and positivity, your morning routine needs to be the same. So if you are struggling to get your morning routine down to an art then here are some tips on how to make the most of the beginnings of your days.
Get Up On Time
This is always going to be the first in every list of this type. If you are not getting up on time you are not setting the right tone for your day.
I know it can be difficult to get straight up and so easy to snooze but it is one of the most important things to do in the morning.
If you dream of being a morning person here are a couple of hacks that I use to get up on time and not get back into bed.
DRINK LOTS OF WATER THE NIGHT BEFORE
I always make sure I drink lots of water before I go to bed. This means that when I wake up in the morning I am more often than not in desperate need of the toilet.
Not only am I creating a healthy habit but it forces me to get out of bed when my alarm goes off to make a quick trip to the bathroom.
Now you will need to play around with just how much you drink, you don't want to be getting up in the middle of the night or even worse not making it to the toilet. But I feel like this is such a good little hack.
