SEX EDUCATION (Let's end up the myths)
I was scrolling the home page of my YouTube & suddenly opened a video about SEX EDUCATION.
Actually, there a female reporter was asking questions to the people out there about Menstruation.
Her very first question was "What are periods?".
Mtlb(Means)🤦‍♀️, the answers were not actually hilarious but more than that, DISTURBING, seriously DISTURBING!
(It was absolutely real, non scripted.)

Literally, I don't wanna blame the people but it was something very unexpected.
As far as I remember, the few of the replies were like
1. 'Aisi baatein apko public me nhi bolni chahiye. Aap inhe apne ghar par baithkar apni mom ya apni behenno se discuss kre'..
Eng- These kinda topics shouldn't be discussed openly in public. You should instead discuss it in your homes along with you mom or sisters.
-An old man of around 50 yrs replied!

2. 'Periods me tummy me se egg release hota h and .....???🤔🤔
Eng- The tummy releases the egg during periods.
-A guy of age around 28-29 yrs replied!

3. 'Beta ye Mike leke public me aisi baatein nhi krte'.
Eng- Dear, you shouldn't say it in public.
- A lady (40yrs) replied

4.'Periods kya hota h??🤔 Yes I am married, I have 4 kids, but i don't know anything about periods.
- A man (35-36yrs) replied!

There were many, he'll many people like this!🤦‍♀️

Now the irony is that, we call ourselves educated.
But reality is, we all are just literate, not educated.
Education has a wide perspective but we are limited to the myths of older generations.
Myths like, Periods are 'ashudh, erotic nightmares are a sign of being vulgar, Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a normal part of growing older and men have to learn to live with it, sex education is not meant for children's ears..etc etc are yet prevailing in our society.

.Can you imagine, A man having four children, but still unaware of Periods!
*Even girls, they are aware of the scientific term "MENSTRUATION"

Here, Menstruation is just an EXAMPLE. My main motive is to make the readers realize about the SEX aspect in our society.

SEX EDUCATION has a broader perspective which includes everything from 0 to the maximum in terms of building a Reproductively Healthy Society.
It is as moral as it is science.

About 50% of the people, who call themselves as modern, are no doubt mere dumb, when it comes to SEX EDUCATION.
Every time the boys are only blamed but we girls are somewhere equally responsible.
Don't boys face problems?
Don't they have sex organs?
Aren't they humans?

Yes, they are, so they mustn't always be trolled!
Not boys nor girls are alone responsible, instead it is equal to both the sides.

As a part of today's generation, we the youths of the country are the one who can bring the change.
So, we all must have that courage to step forward and speak!
All needed is a bit change in the mindsets!
Let's spread this message and make India a Reproductively Healthy Society.
Let's together bring the change!
