Against All Odds: Harrased
“No one has the right to insult or humiliate you, because in this world you are free to do everything.”
~ Zoë Kaià

They say that we are lucky in our homes, especially, ill people, but we can't do anything, that's a fact, I know.

One day, on my way to school I’d been referred to, I'd been harassed by a lot of men going there.

“Miss, why are you in a wheelchair? Can't you just walk?” Said the man with the big beard.

“No, I have polio,” I said with full confidence and so what if I have polio, as long as I don't degrade other people.

“Miss, can you be my forever?” *the group enormously laugh*

“Please, I don't have time for your nonsense, let me pass!” I hysterically shout at them.

“Oh, come on, miss, let’s have fun first,” One with the bald hair asked me.

“PLEASE!!” I shouted at them loudly.

“Oh, please, miss, don't be a killjoy,” One with the scar on his face said to me.

“STOP, YOU ALL B*STARDS, YOU ALL ARE NONSENSE, I HAVE BEEN MAKING A LIVING ON MY OWN SO THAT I WON'T BE A BURDEN TO MY MOM ANYMORE, JUST DO THAT, IT IS FREE TO MAKE A CHOICE IN THIS WORLD, YOU DON’T JUST HUMILIATE ME BECAUSE I HAVE A ILLNESS BECAUSE I STILL CAN AND I’M GOING TO PROVE THAT ALL TO YOU,” I stifled a sob and then breath.

“What now? Cat got your tongue?” I said when I realized that no one was talking.

After my long speech, they all went silent, and after three days they all respected me and my illness.
