Change of Pen ✍️ Name
Hello my beautiful and lovely Writco friends 😊

I have decided to CHANGE my PEN NAME to AM Odunayo (This is the name I intended using from onset but I was scared away by a short incident)

Let me brief you about it:

While I was in secondary school, SSS 3 precisely. There was this note set aside for 'Everyday Mathematics' as prescribed by my Further Maths teacher to help cure laziness and strengthen our roots in Mathematics through daily solving of Maths problems.

I got a note for this purpose and on the cover page (where details such as name, school, subject... are to be filled), I went ahead to write AM Odunayo (Pronounced as I'm Odunayo) instead of filling in my name in the right order.

AM Odunayo (I'm Odunayo) sounds pleasant to my ears each time my classmates call me this until this fateful day; The first time we submitted the note for marking. We were asked to gather the notes together on the desk of the front seat where our FM teacher sat for marking.

Before he marks a note, he would check the name on it, mark and call out the owner to come have his/her note commenting on whatever Maths problems he/she had solved until he came across mine with my stylish and customized name!

'Who is A.M Odunayo?' (Pronounced one after the another)
As I heard this ehn? My heart got stuck in my throat and I couldn't utter a word because of the tone he used.

I knew I was in for a long chastisement which is more painful than being flogged and me like this ehn? An ocean lives in my eyes ready to overflow any moment of emotional fluctuations.

My classmates that love calling me this name were the ones that shouted it's me!

The words I heard this day ehn? I would love to tell you but I can't recollect 🙊

That very moment and that very day, I wasn't myself; I felt bad and regretted ever using the name because the Maths problems I solved went unmarked and uncommented on...
