An Antique box.

The antique trunk lay exposed, when the storm retreated. Apparently, its the other way around, where a juggernaut usually thunders massively, and takes on nature, instead it predominantly succumbed. It was initially difficult to even imagine, however it was true, and eventually a victorious mindset evolved, which indeed glorified the fact that, a genuine discovery might be shielded from a relentless catastrophe. It was ten in the morning, and we had our usual briefings on certain oceanography updates, and it was about a old treasure chest, which indeed had our underwater gadgets, which may trigger any psunamic eruptions or as a matter of fact an unanticipated hurricane, and would also combat as a major defence mechanism to prevent from casacding it further, alongwith it did comprise some research plans, which indeed propagandized the same objective. Henceforth, it was the organization's chief researcher's twentieth work anniversary, and he didn't find a better day, to share a structured road map, which he visioned for the research organisation. We were eight folks from the marine criminal investigations department and were deployed in this research project since inception, and it was an incredible experience in predicting peculiar oceanic behaviours, across numerous weather states, and it was a indeed an additional learning from a meteorological and marine engineering perspective. We had received a couple of case files, from the weather forecast area and intermarine coast guards with relation to suspicious pirate activities which are trying to intercept and highjack some of the special container vessels. We had been working diligently in this project for a couple of months , and it was inevitable, that we may wanted to experience a short vogage round the Pacific coast. We were just awaiting an approval from the investigative, oceanic research and coast guard authorities, to execute the respective mission, and it was indeed getting delayed owing to certain red taped guidelines. Eventually, we received a sign-off, urging us to proceed on the forefront along with the maritime forces and research counterparts. The entire team was equipped within the coast guard vessel, which started sailing at an average of nine knots per hour, post which it indeed multiplied the frequencies of knots, thereby making it more seamless, in order to encounter an apparent water invasion or a ship robbery in turn resulting from a treasure hunt. The speed seemed to be significantly consistent, and the weather conditions seemed normal to an extent, as per meterological forecasts, which were certainly adhered and the crew undoubtedly accelerated in accordance to the weather conditions. It was indeed a peaceful voyage, without being encountered with any suspicious water events, and it clearly indicated a failed mission, until and unless, our crew spotted a vessel rigorously sailing from the north west, which indeed inculcated a sense of cognizance among us in an optimistic manner. It seemed as in we were nearing them or either ways, nevertheless we were going for it. We had our marine introspections examined to an extent, wherin, we could verify their ship's velocity and the precise direction as well, however , amidst all these, we saw one of their cannons launch a projectile approximately three hundred meters before our vessel, thereby facilitating certain reciprocation from our end, which in turn resulted in a head to head warfare. There were canons launched all over from both the opponents, which were indeed inclined to destroy each other, thereby usually robbing all marine vaulables and coast related naval documents. Eventually it was nearing a vessel face-off, however it was still counting a couple of meters, till a huge cannon exploded infront of our vessel, and our ship started getting victimized to a thrust, which indeed forced it to sink gradually, and it seemed like a utter loss, though we had our secured crew jackets and a majority of our crew toppled over, and we swammed over to be alive, since our ship was incredibly vandalized, which in turn led the bow sink in more depth. The pirates were almost there, and inturn launched another cannon, which was indeed a miss to our ship's keel, and projected sideways, which in turn got diffused automatically. An outstanding object to be seen, was an antique trunk, which was floating alongside the diffused cannon, which in turn got submerged. By that time, there were a couple of crew members from our side already missing, or would have succumbed, due to previous explosions or water density, out of which one was from our investigative agency. The trunk still seemed to be visibly floating, owing to an element of buoyancy, without any knowledge of the pirates. It was quite nearer, to be thereby being visible lucidly, which in turn motivated me to me swim a bit far, and in turn making me highly inquisitive, since it came alongwith the diffused cannon. I finally got hold of the old treasure chest, and swammed a bit ahead, thereby holding an edge of the keel and trying to clinch with a shaft, and making my way towards our deck, which seemed to be a bit controlled, post the canon projection. I finally managed getting inside the deck, and tried unlocking the trunk. The moments were startling, since I unlocked the trunk, as there were objects and documents, which were incredibly corresponding to our investigation, and a matter of fact, I found two elements, one of which was a predictive gadget which was discovered by our nation's oceanic researcher to predict a five hour eruption in advance, and secondarily there was a bound document which was wrapped in white, and had some intermarine treaty protocols as well. There were brawling destruction from both sides and our naval officers were relentlessly on it. I was somehow striving my best to understand the bound document, and was continuously going through it, till I found a letter attached with the document, and was quite anxious in reading that, until a destructive hurricane hit the Pacific vigorously, and the entire ordeal was upside down. Survival was the key, but was certainly not prior, to an element of patriotism for our homeland. It was horrendous to the core, thereby making us realize, that we are already dead, though we were breathing.
It seemed like a never-ending catostrophe, which would certainly punctuate a planet, with only marine life. The attacks from the opponents, seemed to be marginal amidst the lasting hurricane. Eventually it started calming down, and the vessels were able to withstand the height of waves upto nine meters, and that was all because of that predictive combat gadget, which was relentlessly at its best to emit and produce deep ocean sound waves, thereby calming down the catostrophe. It was not rough any more, despite the attacks and hurricane, and in the meanwhile we shot the pirates, who survived the hurricane. It seemed liked the end of our investigation, until we saw a survivor who was a pirate indeed, and he in turn ,who waved his hands and threw a letter, which was about to read by me, as in the one, which was attached to the treaty document, and was about to be read by me. That letter comprised a confession from one of the pirates, who was initially a part of the navy services, whom we fought to the behest for our motherland, and he was deployed by the neighbouring navy officials, to spy our coast waters around, and was indeed, paid an exhobirant amount to highjack our treaty documents and underwater gadgets to their utmost confidence. In a further confession in the letter, it indeed narrated " a preliminary theft of an antique trunk from our coasts, by a set of pirates being appointed from the intermarine neigbour country".

Henceforth, our applied research and perseverance, didn't only sabotaged our neighbouring nation, but even the deadliest hurricane experienced in the Pacific, therefore leading a phenomenal victory to the applied maritime research.
