All people- even those "tough" ones- are composed of the same basic elements of life. Outside all that "shell", inside every mortal being has a soft core. A core that feels deeply about thing. Big and small. Small things usually aren't small-a realisation that often comes quite late in life. They were "the" things that actually mattered... No surprise then, that smallest things take up the most room in your heart- knowingly or unknowingly.. Well, that's humanity; the very essence of being human.
