The Man whose failures are more celebrated than his successes. The Man who won all the ICC trophies of his generation. The Man is Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He was born on 7th July 1981. He completed his schooling in Ranchi, Jharkhand. While he was a student, at first he played football as a goalkeeper but his coach persuaded him to play Cricket as a WK Batsman. He debuted for India in the year 2004 on 23rd December but he got run out on the 1st ball. His highest score in ODIs came against Sri Lanka i.e 183*. He was made captain of the ICT in 2007. Although he failed to qualify for the Semi Finals of CWC 2007, he won the ICC T20I World Cup in the same year. A year after, when the IPL started he was drafted by the CSK as its captain. In 2011 on 2nd April, he won the CWC 2011. In the same year and previous year he won the IPL trophies. In 2013, he won the Champions Trophy. He passed the captaincy to Virat Kohli on December 2014 after taking retirement from International Test Matches. He last played a match for the ICT on July 9 2019 where he scores 50 runs. Guptill dismissed him by a direct hit-run out. Between 2 runouts, He has won many awards, many trophies etc. He holds the rank Lieutenant Colonel in the Indian Territorial Army. He has won 5 IPL trophies, 3 ICC trophies, 2 Asian Trophies etc. MSD has created and saved many players' careers. People take him as their idol and will do so in the future also. Although he is hated by millions, he is loved by billions. So this is the story of the Man who dedicated his life for his country and made it easy to win the ICC trophies.
