I jumped out of my bed, catching my breath as tears streamed down my cheeks. I miss her daily remembering every detail of what happened haunts me even though it was 3 years ago. There are several of us still alive but I can't help but wonder if she's still out the missing a leg or something due to how much blood was left behind. I payed back down holding the teddy bear closer and staring into the flame of the candle that burns freely without pain ... without sadness... without a mother or a birthday that would be recognized by someone important. A loud crashing noise jumped me out of my thoughts, then remembering it's time for everyone it get up and go hunting for supplies, check the gardens, and make sure no one's is infected or harmed. I got up and started put my stuff on, first was a tank top tucked into camouflaged genes, tightened with a black belt, combat boots, and my weapons. I blew out the candles unlocked my door just to be greeted but a numb skull named Alex, " Mornin Row how'd you sleep?"
" Fuck off Alex I'm not in the mood to talk to you.."
His smile faded but he nodded, he knows when I reply in that manner it means my mood was destroyed by a simple Dream and any minute I was gonna hit someone. My thoughts were inturupted but the alarm meaning one of the infected was inside the barrier and everyone needed to hunt it down and exterminate it... Me and Alex head to the North gate but found it right away that it wasn't one infected..... but an alpha under one of the "things" .....
