For the first time in her life, Iris did not have to worry about bullies at school. Because she wasn't going to attend school in Alaska.

The Cullens had decided to homeschool her, having learnt from Edward and Jasper about the traumas she had endured. The entire family thought it would be the best decision for the young girl.

"We should have taken her," Bella would not stop blaming herself, upon hearing what had Iris gone through.

"You know it's not that easy," Carlisle reminded her. Renesmee did not have real documents that could trace her parents or relatives, while Jacob had. If it hadn't been for Iris' DNA test with Charlie Swan and his and Sue's death, the Cullens would have had a much harder time tracking the youngest member of their family.

The Cullens couldn't change the past. All they could do was give Iris a better future.
