I know every princess doesn't get to
choose who she will marry but I hoped it will be different with me but no it wasn't , instead it was worse than not being able to choose who to marry.
The problem is I am engaged to the king of the Gethresh kingdom. I never liked him in fact I hated him, he always laughed at me when my parents told him my disgraceful and embarrassing stories such as one I climbed onto a table during my mum's birthday party and did this silly dance. My parents say I was dancing like a chicken. He also mocked me calling me the chicken girl. I scoffed at the idea of marrying him the day my parents told me the heartbreaking news. My father wants me to marry him because he wants more allies for his Kingdom even though it is a big Kingdom and he already has many allies. He says having more allies mean more power. I still couldn't believe he was giving me away just like he did to my sister Moureen who was my only friend, a year ago. Ever since, I never heard of her, I just heard she has a child now and is mistreated by her husband's other wives. I just hope King Liam doesn't have a wife or mistresses. I hope I'll be his only wife.
'I know I promised to give you happiness but as I told you more allies mean more power and I know King Liam Sanderson is a good man he will take good care of you Victoria'. 'Okay dad as you say I know I can never change your mind'. 'Victoria, one more thing you will start your training today and since General William is busy, Alex will train you'.

He told me to be submissive to King Liam and do everything he asks me to do so that he would not allow his wives to mistreat me.I told him I would try my best.
