Neeraj's aunt came in Aditi's room and asked her to join them for a very important announcement. I and Aditi went with them. Neeraj's sister was also just behind us. Everyone was having fun. When they saw Aditi, they called her. And made her stand beside Neeraj on the stage. I was standing behind everyone who gathered around the stage. She wasn't saying anything but her expressions said more than words. Neeraj's parents were standing next to him and Aditi's parents were standing just in front of the stage.
Neeraj's father took the mic and said, Hello ladies and gentlemen. I am here to make a very important announcement. As you may know, It's Christmas next week. And we have decided that Neeraj and Aditi will get married on 25th December that is Christmas. We will be throwing a grand reception the next day. I will be happier to see everyone of you present at the reception. My wife would like to say something too. And he gave the mic to Neeraj's mother.
She started by saying, Hello Everyone. I have been asked a question multiple times and that is ' What kind of daughter in law do you want ? '. I didn't know the answer to this question earlier but after meeting Aditi, I knew that she is the perfect choice for being my daughter in law. She cares for everyone, looks after everyone, cooks delicious food, keeps the house neat and clean and mainly my son is in love with her. I never wanted to go against Neeraj's decision, about who does he wants to get married to. And Aditi was always his first choice.
Everyone clapped and Neeraj's parents asked Aditi's parents to join them on stage. Neeraj's mother passed the mic to Aditi's father ( the owner ). He said, I have only one daughter and that is Aditi. So I always wanted to make the right choice when it came to her husband and I always wanted Aditi's partner to keep her happy. And I know that no one apart from Neeraj can keep Aditi happy. I hope you get a lot of happiness together and spend years and years of love and togetherness.
