THE RIGHT TIME SHALL COME
I've always had this phobia of crossing the road
but recently, I've gotten the courage to do so;
It's all thanks to Lagos always busy road.

Today, the phobia sets in as I took so long a time to cross the road.
Though, I was already late for work.
Like, I was really late!
Yet, I waited for a very clear road before I could cross.

Other pedestrians we were to cross together looked at me as a fool.
Infact, one shouted at me.
Even at that, I was scared to make that move for it may be dangerous when one takes a step at the wrong time as an accident may occur.

Eventually, after what seems like eternity, the road got cleared that even the ongoing vehicle was very far to where I stood.

Guess what? I do not have to run like others did, I walked! Like, I took my time to work across the road.

And you know what? It's always sweet when you do the right thing at the right time i.e when you wait for your time.

Although, others may be miles ahead of you, they might have taken that step before you could like those pedestrians who crossed before me.

Dear, don't be dismayed. The right time can take you even ahead of those who left you behind.

My experience today taught me THE RIGHT TIME SHALL COME and when it does, it makes you feel like a god.

PS: No matter the pressure, criticism, intimidation, don't forget to wait for the right time. For the right time shall come no matter how long.
