The land of dead (part-7)
His pale white face, crept through my mind, "I.. saw you in the portraits.." my voice shivered, as I stood, as my consciousness drifted me. "From the portraits in your room, you don't believe it is from 1921, don't you?" Gloria's moking tone caught me. "Its getting late, you should get rest". "You look stunning, but it is different, Lark" Jake whispered. A girl touched me signaling me to go. At that moment I felt like a puppet, they controlled my independence, "She does not deserve that much power, ..what is of her blood.., look at her she is naive, doesn't even know the game" I heard girl whispering as I passed by. she turned away as I looked. The girl who escorted me, introduced as Shirley took no notice of me, "Why do all of you, hate me" I asked at last, she looked around ensuring there is no one else. "We don't want ourselves killed, you seem to know nothing, you should not have come here, it's been ages since we felt sunlight, it's been years since we felt like ourselves" she said looking at my locket with a teary eyes. "How long have you been here, did you fall from a cave, just as me.. what is happening in here, there were potraits.. my mother." I couldn't keep those questions away. "No we belong here, we were protected, our elders headed by Geolarian family, black magic that what people said, but every thing was at peace, but something changed, people started disappearing, elders was murdered, their lifeless body hanging in the walls, mysterious voices of flute, chants and the ghost girl filled the night, our rulers were hunted, leaving the last heir Amelia.. your mother, she was pregnant at the time, no one knew her lover, she was soo strong, soo powerful, she said she would always stand by her people, she said when she comes back, nothing in the world would harm us.. but we never saw her again."
