Abscond the darkeness ( Chapter - 26 )
Julia's P.O.V.~

I know that she is right , my family really won't be much affected even if any of the prince's ascend the throne but still , I don't know why but I keep becoming more and more suspicious whenever I think of this incident , as if everything is in front of my eyes but I am unable to see it or maybe avoiding it knowingly.

"I know , I am aware that my family won't really be affected by any change in the king. But I don't know something in the back of my head keep telling me something is not right."

I spoke conveying my thoughts to her and she looked visibly worried as the frown on her forehead couldn't be hidden.

"Maybe you are thinking too much? But don't you think it's too much of a coincidence that just when Nathan came back , his majesty got poisoned?"

When she spoke the small voice in my head was like 'Yes , that's it . That's what I was having suspicions about but was avoiding' . I shook my head at my thoughts not wanting to have suspicions about Nathan.

"Stop it , he has nothing to do with it . Even speculating that he might have any connection to this incident is silly ."

I got defensive all of a sudden not knowing why and stood up pressing my lips together and dusted off my saree straightening it and looked at her as she stood up too with surprise evident in her face.

"It was just something that came in my mind so I told you , no need to get so defensive and shout at me."

And here was the second shock I didn't knew I shouted at her and now felt a bit guilty and sighed shaking my head and looked at her.

"Forgive me I didn't mean to."

To which she simply smiled playfully as usual and shook her head.

"Forget it , I don't mind it you can scold me , punch me or do whatever you want."

She again spoke playfully and I laughed looking at her , I seriously love her and can never lose her anyone but not her.

Note: The king has 2 sons and one daughter. The princess have already been married off to the king of Magadha for an alliance.
