Everyone life is unique so are their journeys

If others think that your life lacks meaning, prove them wrong. What are the things or people that gave your life meaning?
We all strive for success and that perfect life, but the journey towards your goal is unique for everyone.
I belive that one should identify their own potential and skills to start their journey of achieving their desired goal.
When I left my career to cater to motherhood, it took a little while for me get used to the fact that I was no longer financially independent. However, my kids filled up my life with immense happiness and joy.
Losing both my parents in a span of 7 years left me broken and shattered, but the innocence in my kids eyes gave me a reason to smile again.
The vacuum left inside my heart shall never fill up again, however, I decided to restart my career again once my kids started school.
Just like other women who have been out of industry, I too was lost in an ocean having nowhere to go.
It was here that I decided to study and do research on the current industry trends,jobs and skills to get back to work.
Everyday I dedicated 2 hours to upskill myself, attend webinars and develop a professional network.
It was during this time I discovered a hidden passion inside me of writing. So I started writing everyday. Slowly and gradually I started getting accolades and recognition for my work.
And here I am writing for another platform that has given me the opportunity to showcase my skills and share with others.
The main reason and motivation behind all this is my husband who always stood by me through thick and thin. He not only motivated me in my lows but celebrated my success too.
From sharing household chores to kids responsibility, he is my real partner in this journey.
Nobody's life is meaningless, we all have that purpose of being here, it's just a matter of time to realise what it is.
No miracles happen overnight, so keep working hard and yes the key to every success is consistency.
Keep striving and you shall very soon achieve success!
P.S Apart from being a writer I am also a career coach where I have helped many women get back to work.
