Abandoned Mansion

The mirror loomed over them as they traversed the hallways of the abandoned mansion. It was rumoured that no one came out alive from it. Alice and Shaun were always the adventure types and loved exploring the unknown.
The rumors about the abandoned mansion made them curious to go inside and explore it themselves.
They never believed in ghosts.
As they walked down the hallway. The mirrors on the walls and ceiling loomed over them.
When one mirror caught Alice's attention,it was a large one with a glided frame. It seemed a worth a fortune.
She immediately called upon Shaun, they went closer to examine it.
At first it seemed normal, when suddenly they noticed, that the mirror was no longer mirroring their images.
Then suddenly, Alice's reflection stepped out of the mirror, and took the life of its own.
With sinister intentions in its eyes, it moved towards Alice and Shaun.
They started to run and the reflection chased them around the hallway.
But each time they found themselves in the same place, and they realised that they have been trapped.
Shaun said" We have to destroy the mirror." He immediately took a chair and threw at the mirror,but it bounced back.
Alice reflection laughed maniacally saying" you both are trapped forever."
But Shaun had another idea, he immediately took out his phone and took a selfie. The reflection stood confused.
Alice told Shaun to switch places with the reflections.
They did and suddenly Alice's reflection was trapped in the mirror.
Shaun picked up the chair and smashed the mirror and they both ran out of the mansion.
Once they saw the day light, they gasped for breath.
Both looked back at the mansion and realised that sometimes it is best to leave somethings alone!
