Tears of the naked ghost

Episode 2

We woke up the next day only to found our mother lying lifeless on her bed, we tried everything to makes her wake up from the deep sleep but to no avail, my sister dash out from the room to informed our people what has happened, I was still inside crying when i heard my uncles and some elders shouting arbormination outside, I dash out of the room to know what was going on, only to see my uncles with their hands fold to their arms looking at me like someone who has committed a big crime, I was confused, I rushed to one of my father's brother and told him mama is dead, I was shocked by his respond, what do you expect he asked me, your mother was guilty that is why she passed away, the spirits of our accetors has strike her dead, and anyone killed by the gods must be buried in the evil forest, the body of your mother has to be throw into the evil forest he said, I was waiting for him to tell me he was joking but he seem serious, I went around but they were all saying the same thing, I wondered how come i never witness this before all my years in the village, I rushed to the palace to pleaded with the king since he has the final say in the village, he told me that when it comes to tradition, only the gods has the final said, tradition has be in existence since before my fore fathers were born, who am i to challenge the gods? He asked, I rushed back home, my uncles said that we have to look for a way to gives our father a be fitted burial before we can talk about my mother, I agreed in order to makes them change their mind not to throw my mother into the evil forest, we started the burial preparation immediately, me and my sister do what we can and leave the rest for our step brothers and my uncles, as the first son, i did alot because the tradition demands alots from the first son, we finished our father's burial and it time to talked about my mother, my uncles no longer show any interest to hear anything about my mother again, the next day i traveled far to my mum's village to know how them can help, we all traveled back to my father's place, before we got home almost the whole villagers were already in our compound getting ready to takes my mother's body to the evil forest as the tradition demands, I started dragging my mother's body with them but it was just few against the whole kingdom, just then i heard a voice from the crowds tradition is tradition, and we must do as the tradition demands, I turned to see who was that, it was the chief priests, the eyes of the gods, he has spoken i know nothing could be done again, me and my sister stands and cried as we watched our mother's body being taking to the evil forest
