Lil Johno

It was a bright sunny Sunday; the sky looked like a clear beautiful blue blanket. As far as lil Jono could see, there were green trees everywhere and green soft grass under him.
Unfortunately, lil Jono was bored and feeling lazy to be exact, he hardly stays at home.
Mahn, this house is boring, I really need to get out and do something fun, thought lil Jono to himself.
Poor lil Jono, the day didn’t look so bright to him, he was bored. He lay back down and watched as Mr. and Mrs. Birdy build their house, suddenly he remembered grandmothers new house, that one single thought seemed very appealing to him, it sure was the perfect place to have fun.
Taking one last glance at Mr. and Mrs. Birdy, lil Jono was on his way, skipping and singing as he went down the marked path to dear grandmothers’ house. On his way, lil Jono excitedly though of all the amazing and marvelous ideal of fun have there.
Boy! If only you’d see his face, he had a smile that would probably reach the end of his face, well he sure looked like a little child who had just been given a new toy, a really happy little boy with a mischievous gleam in his eyes. That day just got brighter.
He reached his destination as grandfather finished putting the brand new side wall for the house, lil Jono quietly slipped past unsuspecting grandfather and into granny’s new house. First mission accomplished, time to have fun whispered lil Jono to himself, there was no stopping now.
There lil Jono explored all parts of the house and also explored all his adventurous ideas as well. Lost in all his fun, he didn’t notice grandmother approaching. Oh boy! Lil Jono did not know what major trouble he was in. seriously the look on grandmas’ face could chase the sun away.
Lost in his world, lil Jono didn’t realize grandma blocking the door with her long cane. Glancing up suddenly, lil Jono’s eyes met grandma’s furious eyes. Ooopz! He surely was in innumerable trouble. His heart beat like the racing cars on TV.
Lil Jono knew how much pain he’d feel if he’d run for the door, so he ran straight for the brand new wall, poor granny’s wall; it came crushing down with lil Jono. Poor Child! I know.
Well lil Jono made a dash for his life not realizing his bleeding hand. He really pitied himself, his brilliant fun ideas weren’t so brilliant, and they put him in hot soup. My! It wasn’t the end of the day yet, oh poor lil Jono!
Afternoon came and lil Jono got the best worst medicine ever. But he did learn his lesson. He sure did and never forgot his lesson.
He for one is a very good boy now.

Scars remind us of where we’ve been but they don’t dictate where we’re going.
