Who Won It Finally?
It's a story of a love triangle, friendship, dedication and sacrifice.

After completing 12th Rajat Nimbalkar And Paras Thosar, Two childhood friend got admitted to the same college in Computer Science And Information Technology branch in a college in Mumbai. Both Rajat and Paras belonged to Aurangabad of Maharashtra. Rajat was never inclined towards engineering, he wanted to study literature, be a writer, poet, comedian, story teller whatever a creative artist possess to be. Paras was a happy-go-lucky boy, he got what he liked. And college life was not like Karan Johar's movie, fancy lifestyle, rich people, beautiful angelic girls flirting you by your looks and fame you carried. Hostel life was one of the toughest phase of their life, everywhere they saw is dirt, dust, unorganised stuffs. The hostel food was worst than that patients are provided by nurses in government hospital. Their bathing soap, detergent were also stolen. Seniors are using their power of being superior. And everyday Rajat has to face the lecturer and head of the department whose faces were uglier than a rotten egg. On the other side Paras had similar state too but he enjoyed the subjects he loved. After attendance Rajat used to quit the classroom, at times bunk classes too, sit with a diary and a pen on the shores of Juhu Beach. Rajat was stressed that how would he pass these 4 years all along. Paras was stressed too but not like Rajat was. A girl named Mayanka Mohe came into Rajat's notice. Sometimes Rajat used to peep at her, he dipped and digged down his desperacy to talk to her, but he still kept himself reserved as if everything is normal. After the mid semester, they both exchanged a few words, that's how the friendship of Rajat and Mayanka began. Rajat introduced Mayanka to Paras also. Those three became a group of close college friends. That's how a new journey began, they interacted, partied, celebrated together. Rajat used his diary and pen to describe his love for her in a poetic manner. One part of his diary was a like a slam book where he knew about her zodiac sign, nickname, favourite colour, favourite dessert, favourite food, favorite dressing style, favourite cricketer, favourite poem/story/novel. Rajat's diary was like a holy book of love for Mayanka. Whereas Paras was unknown of Rajat's love for Mayanka, but deep down he had those feelings for Mayanka. Paras once confessed Rajat that he loves Mayanka and wanted to propose her. Rajat was in grave shock, because Rajat himself knows how deeply he loves Mayanka, that no one can do. For a moment he was shaking. Paras asked Rajat, “Rajjo are you okay?” Paras shook him, then Rajat said I'm absolutely fine. Then Paras asked him how to propose Mayanka. And undoubtedly Rajat knows A to Z about Mayanka, he insisted Paras to propose her on her birthday.

In 3rd year of the college, in a hotel Rajat, Paras and other group of friends organised a party in a hotel collectively. Paras kept white balloons and red balloons in the party with chocolate cake. Paras had a ring and a pink balloon. Rajat in an angst said, “Paro(Paras), Mayanka doesn't love pink balloon. Take that red velvet heart shaped pillow written, “Darling Will You Be Mine” and get black forest cake, she loves black forest.” Paras was in a shock for a moment that how he knows so much about Mayanka in depth. But he ignored it and as Rajat advised he followed. Before cake cutting with that heart shaped red velvet pillow Paras proposed Mayanka and she accepted. That birthday was one of the best birthday in her life.
The biggest thing in Mutual Relationship is when there's a fight or misunderstanding or even a breakup you lose that day, and when there's a wave of happiness and dreamful life you win. But in One Sided Relationship or One Sided Love, You Win Everyday And Lose Everyday. By suggesting Mayanka's favourite coloured pillow, writing a bible of love in his diary expressing his love for Mayanka he won everyday. But when Paras took her to date and later proposed her on her birthday, Rajat had just lost it. His and Paras's life was like the 2019 World Cup Final Between New Zealand And England.

The love for Mayanka he won everyday. But when Paras took her to date and later proposed her on her birthday, Rajat had just lost it. His and Paras's life was like the 2019 World Cup Final Between New Zealand And England.

After B. Tech Rajat, Mayanka and Paras all were jobless for a year. Within that one year Rajat started blogging, Mayanka and Paras got placed in same company in Pune.

The next year Paras got engaged to Mayanka, just two days before marriage.

The next day of engagement, Paras and Rajat were having a can of beer by sitting at the Bandra Band Stand, Mumbai. All of a sudden from nowhere Paras popped out of a question, "Rajjo. Do you love Mayanka?”

Then Rajat gave a quirky smile and said, “Haan kiya tha pyaar beshumar,
Dil darta tha karne ko izhaar,
Jab thaan liya tha ki karunga izhaar,
Koi aur baitha tha taiyyar.

Haan mein tujhse pehle chaha tha usse,
Zindagi mein aayi thi bann kar jaan jaise,
Jaan ke liye jaan bhi dene ko tha taiyyar,
Par koi aisa tha jo jaan se badh kar tha,
Aur uss jaan ke liye mein apna pyaar toh kya jaan bhi hoon dene ko taiyyar,
Kyunki woh jaan tu hi hai mere yaar.”

Paras was in shock and in tears as well and told Rajat that, “Bhai pehle bol diya hota, rukk abhi Mayanka ko sab sach bolta hoon.”

Then Rajat held hand of Paras and gruelled on him and said, “Chup Paro Chup, Bilkul Chup. Tujhe Pata Bhi Hai Kya Hoga Iska Anjaam, Mayanka Ki Aur Uske Khaandaan Ki Izzat Mitti Mein Mill Jaayegi Aur Saath Mein Meri Bhi. Tu Pyaar Karta Hai Na Usse, Tu Mere Hisse Ka Pyaar Bhi Usse De Dena, Tujhe Mayanka Aur Humari Dosti Ki Kasam.” Paras Agreed.

The next day Paras married to Mayanka, in barati dance, Rajat danced like as if Hritik Roshan's soul got into him, he was genuinely happy for Paras and Mayanka.

One day Rajat gave his diary to Paras, where he wrote about Mayanka. And said I will publish it soon, but don't worry, it wouldn't be Mayanka's name mentioned in the book. I will put someone else's name. And another secret, “Office mein ek ladki hai, Anjali. She proposed me few days ago. Accept kar doon”. Paras asked, “Ladki kaise hai?”, Rajat says in a taunted manner, “Teri waali jaise toh nahi hai, par bahut helpful aur dil ki bahut achchi hai. Jabse blogging shuru kiya tha tab se hai woh.” Paras said, “Saale Bhootnike naam ko replace kar ke uska, publish kar aur proposal accept kar. "

Finally Rajat published his book named, “Who Won It Finally?” and later got married to Anjali.

It was Rajat's poetic heart which made him a winner despite Paras got married to his so called beloved Mayanka. His feelings and the words in the diary were as pure as milk and as clear as a water.

It was like the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 final, where both New Zealand and England scored same runs in 50 overs and Super Over but unfortunately luck favoured to England. In this story Paras is someone like England, and Rajat was someone like New Zealand, where Mayanka is that cup. Even though Paras got married to his love Mayanka, but deep down he knows better that no one could love her like Rajat did and she deserved Rajat than him.

So, “Who won it finally?”, its actually none other than Rajat Nimbalkar.
