If I could change one thing in my life...

If you could change one thing about your life, what would it be? Write a story on it.
It has been said, "The pens have been lifted, the pages have dried." Allah has preordained all matters. The pens have been lifted, they have written everything that will happen.
There was a time in my life when I was far away from the real understanding of my religion. I was always complaining Allah if You would have done such and such, such and such would have happened. At that time I was always wishing to change a lot of things from my life.
But after that, I started pondering over the Qur'an and I become eager to know about the message of Allah. After knowing about my religion my mindset totally changed. Now, I am satisfied with whatever I have. I think everything is perfect in my life and everything is at right place there's no need to change anything. I started living according to my reality without envisioning the ideal life, free from toils. I'm accepting my life as it is. I'm content with whatever Allah has given me whether it's wealth, appearance, looks that Allah has favoured me, talents, my family situation and level of understanding. I read somewhere if we will be pleased with Allah for little things He will also be pleased with us for small deeds.
There's also a well known verse in the Qur'an,"No calamity befalls on the earth or in yourselves but is inscribed in the book of Decrees - before we bring it into existence." _Qur'an (57:22)
And when this belief firmly ingrained in my heart I found more ease and comfort.
Keeping busy ourselves by thinking that "if we could change one thing about our life" in my opinion is a waste of time.
