AFTER ABBY ROAD
As the Spring air warmed up the people of London, not the same could be said about the BEATLES.

In the studio it was a cold chill between the four once best friends of that little skiffle band from Liverpool.

The Beatles knew that there latest album, ABBY ROAD, was a great recording. But what many wondered was if the band could hold it together for a fallow up album.

By the Summer of 1969 the Beatles met at APPLE to decide on the next if any project to start.

To everyone's surprise, JOHN LENNON spoke up and proposed that the band go back into the studio to record a new single to be released by Christmas.

Paul McCartney was the most shocked and happiest to hear John saing that.

It was agreed that the Beatles would begin recording a new album that August.

On August 22, 1969 the BEATLES met at ABBY ROAD to begin recording the fallow up to ABBY ROAD.

During the first night of recording the band decided to begin on a George Harrison song called * I WILL BE THE ONE *

George began to sing....

' Yes to you you know I'll be the one
Yes to you I will always love you
To you I love you are the one.

7 takes were recorded:
takes 1-5 breakdowns
takes 6-7 completed
take 6 marked * BEST*.
