The Phone Call
Sitting in the porch of my newly built home, with a cup of black coffee and a tranquil mind, I felt fortunate. If you ask me whether I'm satisfied or not, I would say a clear NO. Eight years ago I had THREE things to achieve - 1. To take good care of the ones who brought me up to what I am now, 2. To attain the goal I had in mind, since I was 7yrs old, to be an IAS officer. I tried to communicate with him many times using our mutual contacts but nothing worked well.
I had not seen him after that. Deliberately I had to keep aside all those feelings for him. Somewhere deep down I knew that I will see him again.

One evening I got a call, it was from my superior officer. I was asked to attend an International Seminar in Delhi, the day after tomorrow, on behalf of the superior officer (district collector). Little did I know that the call and the delhi visit is going to change everything.
