The innocent Sacrifice..(#WritcoStoryPrompt41)
#WritcoStoryPrompt41
The mirror loomed over them as they traversed the hallways of the abandoned mansion. It was rumoured that no one came out alive .
It was raining heavily and lightning bursted the lilac dark sky. The thunder roared as if scolding the ghost hunters for entering the cursed mansion. Robin and Hanzel wanted to figure out the truth. so they planned to stay there. At midnight they heard a ding-dong-ding sound from a grandfather clock . As they searched they found an old one, but to their utter surprise they found it struck 13 o'clock.
Robin: How is that possible? Clock with 13 after 12 ?
Hanzel: Yeah! That's weird....
They were examining the clock when suddenly at 13 past 5 the front door of the clock opened.
Hanzel: I don't think it's safe to explore inside.
So they tried to avoid it and turned back.
But what happened next nobody knows.
Amidst the tumultuous events in the sky all that the surrounding experienced were two tonitruant screams and continuous pleas.
The sky burst with thunders.
The ground roared as the rock glided due to sever earthquake.
The river gurgled ferociously.
The three elements of Earth that day made all the possible moves to veil the howling woes coming from the mansion at the midnight.
The next day Robin was found in a critical state lying on the hospital bed.
Two years passed but he never spoke again. Didn't properly eat or sleep.
All he did was look sit at the window all day and night, look at something far far away. As if he has crossed his limit of life. Shedded his tears clutching Hanzel's photo frame all the time, actually he became a living zombie.
The next year only two pictures or two heroes could be seen occasionally when someone passed the open windows of the mansion from then onwards. It was them. Yes! The so called haunted mansion broke free from the curse after that day.
