'Dear Sir, We are pleased to inform you that you have been selected for the role for which you gave the audition on 24th of June 2020. You have been given the role of the lead in the short film. Further information will be forwarded to you by another letter by next week.' Roy read the letter aloud to Meh.
' Are you serious ? Congrats. This will be big break for you. I am so happy for you, dear.', said Meh.
'I hope everything goes well.', replied Roy.
Roy always wanted to become an actor. He had left his studies after college and joined an art school for the same. After giving many auditions, he finally cleared this one. It was for short film and he got the major role.
They decided to celebrate with Champaign after dinner. Both had fun. Roy saw this as a fine oportunity to spend some quality time with her. Both of went to their bedroom and locked the door. What an amazing night it was!! Just like an adventure.
But the real and dangerous adventure was yet to come.
The next morning Roy woke up to found that Meh was not beside. He went to the dinning room in search of her. Meh was sitting on the table with her head balanced on her hands. She looked tired and sick. Roy quickly went towards her.
Meh said,' I should see a doctor. I don't think I am well.'.
Roy,' Why ? What happened?'.
Meh replied,' This morning I woke up with a severe head ache. I was unable to breathe properly. Everything seemed to be blurred.'.
Roy said,' Why didn't you wake me up dear ?'.
Meh,' I tried to but I couldn't speak. My throat was dry as desert.'.
Roy spoke again,' We will visit the doctor today itself. Don't worry.'.
It was evening. They both were returning back from the diagnos centre. The doctor gave few tests that had to be done. The reports would be ready by the next day. Roy continuously prayed for Meh. He hoped that whatever it was, it shouldn't be something serious for her health.
The next morning around at 9'o clock Roy came out of the house. He went for a walk. So while returning he can bring back the reports. After one hour he went to the centre and that is when the horror started.
