The sound of machine that is the only one keeping her alive, resounds at the every corners of the room.

He stared at her, memorizing every crook of a once very vibrant face.

"I'm sorry. I never love you. I tried though, I really do. I tried to fall in love with you but he's the only one that occupies my heart and mind. I'm so sorry."

He looks at her as the tears fall upon her pale beautiful face. It lack the colors of a healthy person but beautiful nonetheless.

"I know."

Momentarily silencing the sobbing girl as she frozed. He took her hand, gently as if he's touching a very fragile jewelry.

"The moment I asked you if you ever saw us having a future together and you remained silent, I know. I know the meaning behind an answerless answer."

He continues while smiling bitterly but he never let her hand go, instead he gripped it more tightly, not too tight for he might fear he'll cause her more pain.

Again the sound of the machine, filled every crook of the room. Failed to chase away the painful silence.
