and we have to
choose them all.

work is insane,
with shifts
with people
with rules,
and we have to
respect them all.

weekends are fleeting,
with plans
with joy
with rest,
and we have to
say goodbye to them all.

questions are easy,
with where?
with why?
with how?
and we have to
know when to ask them all.

answers are impossible,
with yes.
with no.
with maybe.
and we have to
pretend to understand them all.
