The sound of the stadium's roar,
Resonates with every four,
Down the pitch,
Over the arm,
Cricket has its own charm.
Sound of the national anthem gives goosebumps,
Head or tail as the coin jumps.
Toss, fielding, batting and more,
Playing with pleasure to make a good score.
Respect for players and their efforts,
Handling the challenges even worst to worst.
They represent us and our nation,
always with high and positive determination.
Flags and cheers from the public,
Hooting the names of their Republic.
One more run needed to make a century,
Whole crowd stood up contentedly.
"How's that?" when the opponent shout,
Every eyes look for who is out.
and yes, it's cricket which is nothing without a wicket.
It's not only about a match,
but it worth taking each catch..
Winning and losing is a part of game, cricket represent our nation but not the fame.
