Down and down in the dark pit
I found a strange fellow;
It has everything to say
but cannot speak nor mumble sound
It has long large wings
but didn't have the will to fly
It has pure good heart
but never beat at once.


Down and down in the hot pit
this little fellow dwelt,
Soundlessly singing the tragedy of life;
blindly soaring the heights of mind.
This poor little fellow whose color is neither black or white,
in pain it always ended up.
