Like the Devil's Paradise
A beautiful paradox,You and I
And we both know our time has come to say goodbye
But we keep lying there, entangled to one another
When we are supposed to be apart,we keep on staying together.

A momentary bliss doesn't soothe a curse for a lifetime
The fair games they play, don't know breaking hearts is also a crime?
I push you away everyday, and frantically search for you a second later
Round and Round we go, still deep down I know things won't get any better.

Cause we are a bitter mess, even if it tastes like sugar
And I know it would take decades by these memories to blur
I chase after you but you keep on slipping away like a mirage
But you still keep me close like I am a bird in your cage.
